Aqua Alta is a discourse about fear, about our inner uneasiness to fear. The visual path of this exhibition assembles a certain type of “voyage from the innermost towards the infinite”, where different forms and stages of angst are experimented. Each room appears to be a phase, a juncture point of a metamorphic process. It might be a utopic aquatic territory blown by sirocco and bora, an enclave detained between springs and autumns; enduring recurrent refluxes.
