Byz 2.0

Byz 2.0 is an exploration of the interaction of space and sound and human body. For the performance Paz Lenchantin composed and performed a 20 min piece inspired by ancient Byzantine chants.

In 2016  “Byz 2.0” – a collaborative project by Olya Dubatova, James Donahue (Berklee School of Music), Sharon Gerstel (UCLA), Chris Kyriakakis (USC) was awarded USC Arts and Humanities Initiative Visions and Voices Grant.

The performance took place in February, 2017 in Los Angeles, CA.
